This was written by my high school art teacher Stanly Grosse. He says it perfectly and I am posting this on both my pages… But, the reality is that all of these students that are being taught now, without the arts, without The doing of art, The art history, and all else regarding mans history through art.... No wonder the art galleries are closing, No wonder art is not selling (at least the medium priced), No wonder all of these tekkieers have little or no use for original art. They never had Art in their school curriculum..... From the dawn of civilization, man has taken the time to make Art. From cave paintings onward and upward, from survival to elegant, from realism to the abstract, from primitive mask design to hair and body ornamentation, from chapels to cathedrals.... Man has found the time, and the reason, to Make Art.... Im afraid were on the wrong course with our Education in this country. Priorities are skewed and our reasoning flawed..... Anybody out there listening?..... Bring the Arts Back, Please...…
