This week Eastern Heights students in Ms. Hahn’s and Mr. Corp’s class had Elyria Week, this year their focus was learning about ways to volunteer and make a difference in your community. This week students painted fire hydrants near Eastern Heights, volunteered serving hot meals, stocking the food pantry and planted flowers at Salvation Army (pictured here), volunteered in kindergarten classrooms at Prospect and planting flowers at UH Elyria Medical Center. In just this week alone these students put in over 100 hours of community service combined. Keep up the great work and #gopioneers
