This week I am leaving the Bay Area. Seems strange since I have been here almost 25 years. I moved from Union city over three years ago, leaving behind memories of my children and my life there. Now I leave the shelter of my cute, lovely condo and travel to an unknown area. I am still within travel time to the bay but it is a huge shift for me. Moving farther from my memories is always hard. I am excited for the new adventure and the new house. But leaving behind Logan and soccer, biniams tree, and the memories that I have there is hard. Change is the one certainty in life. And so away I go.

With luck. our (hard) winter here in Berlin may soon be over.
