This week I thought I would change things up a bit with a fun run around Punch Bowl Lake. This will require two big differences to the way weve been doing things which is why Im getting this out to you early this week. First, instead of meeting at Balfour Beatty Wednesday afternoon well be meeting at the intersection of Corral Rd and Punch Bowl Rd which is outside the main gate but still on Vandenberg AFB property. Instruction on how to get there are on the attached map. Second, Id like to start a half hour earlier than normal to make sure that we finish while its still light out. So, the start time for Wednesday afternoon is NLT 1630. Most of the first mile is on the road but the rest of this course is trail. The hill youll be repeating is no joke so please hydrate before coming out and listen to your body. Its perfectly fine at this point to be walking some of the hill if necessary. We still have three months of training to go, we will get there.
