This week Ruda has started to study the fine art of using the human hands and fingers. He gets two practices of catching wooden fishes a day, where he struggles to control his hands which are moving by themselves. He catches a fish, and the mouth comes straight after it. There was one day he was clinging to a small wooden rack tightly as his mouth struggled to swallow the whole thing. His body movement is all led by his fingers and his mouth, like they have a life of their own. It is such an enchanting dance. I think, all dancers should study the movement of babies.
