This week a dear young friend of mine passed away. She was one of my choir kids from chaperoning choir trips for 7 or 8 years when Sam and Jessie were in high school. She was one of those people who lights up a room with her kindness and laughter. Part of me wants to be angry and ask, "why so soon" and part of me is filled with the joy of having had her in my life. Because being angry is very tiresome I will choose to concentrate on the joy. So my dear Jessica Reicosky I celebrate you! I will be listening for your laughter in the stars!
