This week, a team of KS4 staff and students took part in Ravenscliffes first ever London residential. After travelling down on Sunday, the team then headed into the City on a mini sight-seeing tour. We think its the first time a school minibus has driven down The Mall, past Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London! On Monday, staff and students successfully negotiated the tube network and had a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament, followed by lunch at the amazing Borough Market. More sightseeing in the afternoon was followed by dinner at the Real Greek Resteraunt in Covent Garden. Tuesday saw the team head to Warner Brothers in Watford for a tour of Harry Potter Studios. Some of the staff were more excited than the students, particularly when it came to buying Potter themed souvenirs! Everybody had a fantastic trip, and were already planning London 2015!
