This week at Hidden Acres Homestead: The black walnut trees are history (black walnuts = roller skating horses), the horses were pulled from the pastures and feeding hay twice a day has begun (4 of them are still enjoying the yard), the process of reseeding the fields is started, the round pen pavilion is almost designed, we hosted our first annual Gymkhana (games on horseback!), flowers were planted, gardens were weeded (their semi-annual weeding since thats all I have time for) and arena lights repaired and up and working again..... Plus Magic needed injury treatment after stepping on himself, Sadye had an eye infection, the front gate wheel broke, well repair started.....Dave and I did manage to go out to dinner this evening though!
