This week from Mr. C: Hello, *We have experienced an unusual amount of absences this year. 64 to be exact. (I have 20 students) KOK has chosen 10 as the magic number...meaning that when a student hits 10 days missed, we start becoming concerned. Thanks to all who help keep these numbers to a minimum. *Science: Electricity! *Geography: Central Asia! *RSV quizzes this Friday. We are finishing Dairy Queen. Will soon start The Christmas Carol. *Work Day at school, Dec. 14th, Saturday, 8-12 noon. *Family caroling Dec. 15th, Sunday, from 4:30-6:00 P.M. We load the piano on the trailer and hit the local neighborhoods. Pizza and Christmas cheer to follow at the Cochran house. YOU and YOUR family are invited!!! Meet at the church parking lot. *Childrens Christmas Service Dec. 20th, Friday, 7 P.M. We spend a great deal of time preparing for this special service. Your child is expected to be in attendance. 8th graders have a special part in this service! *Consider donating an unwrapped gift or non-perishable food item. Place them under our beautiful tree in the ASC room. I will take all gifts to the Orlando Salvation Army homeless shelter for women and children. *Consider donating a money gift or candy/goodies for our candy bags which will be given to every child at the Childrens Christmas Service. *Yes, its the time of year when things get a bit chaotic.
