This week has been a nightmare for me. not being able to talk at all Friday night, going to the doctors Saturday morning, being told I have inflamed vocal chords and a bad throat infection, being put on antibiotics and told not to talk for 2 days. I had a music assessment today where I was required to sing for 30 minutes. This morning I woke up and refused to talk to anyone. My voice was completely destroyed and Ive never been more scared to sing in my life. I managed to get through all of it with the support of some amazing people. Belting 80s rock with a bad throat will definitely kill your voice.. I am currently producing not a single sound from my mouth now... That is what I call dedication.
