This week has brought great news and I could not be more proud. Jess Rivera, my wonderful daughter has been accepted to Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, to do her Masters degree in Ecological Economics! Every year Jess amazes me more. She is kind, fun, smart and has a level of compassion and empathy I respect more than I can express. She has always affected others in wondrous ways just by being herself. She has already spent time travelling to 3rd World Countries starting to do her work with people and environmental issues. I feel privileged to be her mom and grateful for our closeness and deep understanding of one another. WAY TO GO JESS!! Congratulations on going to Barcelona this fall!
