This week is going to be kind of bitter-sweet. Tuesday, I will - TopicsExpress

This week is going to be kind of bitter-sweet. Tuesday, I will conduct my last Real Estate deal by closing on our personal home here in Caldwell. My Real Estate career has been wonderfully rewarding. Not just from the financial aspect, but the personal growth aspect as well. Being a Realtor has opened my eyes to many new ways of helping others, from first time home buyers to the savvy, experienced investor. I have had the privilege of working with some of the most awesome people in the Valley, from lenders, to title personnel, to inspectors, appraisers, other Realtors, City Departments, etc. I have learned that by working together, there isnt anything we cant accomplish. I have been fortunate to make some life long friends, who some, by the way, are responsible for us moving to Arizona! I have helped young families achieve something they never thought possible, and got to know them along with their young children and share in their excitement of purchasing their very first home. Ive got to help those of retirement age find the home that will be just right for them, so they can relax and enjoy the next stage of their lives. I learned quickly in my 10 years in this profession, that being a Realtor is NOTHING like I thought it would be. It is hard work, and much more time consuming then one thinks while attending Real Estate school. Its a lot more expensive too!! But thats okay. Being a Real Estate agent has by far, been one of the best professions of my life. Its made me realize that there isnt anything I cant do! Jim & I will be closing on our home on Tuesday, and shortly after head to Arizona. We are leaving Uncle Larry in the hands of a home that truly looks after all his needs, and will be back up in the Spring to possibly move him down closer to us. He is in a state that he doesnt recognize us much any more, and requires 24-7 care. Our boys and daughter-in-laws, Shawn, Bryan & Mandy, Casey & Christie are all coming over tomorrow to help load up the U-Haul truck and we will all enjoy an early Thanksgiving catered by Sandra Beaukleman Catering. I am going to miss my kids, and our granddaughters, but Jim & I are ready to start a new chapter in our lives. We want to see things we havent seen before and do things weve always talked about doing. Besides, it will give the kids an excuse to come to Arizona in the middle of Winter now! I will also miss some very special friends. You all know who you are. Elaine, DyAnn, Betty, Jennie, Arvid, Jill, Danette Noble, just to name a few. I will miss all the great people that Ive had the privilege to work with and call friends..Jill Farwell, Emily Williams, Lori Apodaca, Kelli Manker, Barbie Nigri, Teri Patterson, John Owen, Curt & Kim Teske, Vicki Hunspurger, so many more. This will be my last post for a while, but I look forward to sharing our Arizona adventures with everyone soon. Love & Best Wishes to everyone, Kathy
