This week the CIDRZ Programme for the Awareness and Elimination of Diarrhoea hosted two important scientific visitors! Dr Fred Cassells, Branch Chief of the Enteric and Hepatic Diseases of the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Disease of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, and Dr Baoming Jiang, leading research microbiologist in the Division of Viral Disease, National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Disease, at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. Both scientists were visiting CIDRZ to discuss possible future research collaborations in our quest to tackle deadly childhood diarrhoea in Zambia.
