This week we highlight the Mount of Olives. This location is currently the burial grounds for Jews, Muslims, and Christians. It’s also the traditional location of tombs for Absalom, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. This is the site where Yahshua delivered the Olivet Prophecy (Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21), perhaps the greatest single prophetic passage within the Word. This is also where Yahshua ascended to heaven (Acts 1) and where He will prophetically return. As we read in third chapter of Zechariah: “Then shall Yahweh go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south,” verses 3-4.
