This week we met a woman named Sally who came in with her friend and both of their older daughters. Sally was searching for a bangle for her sister who did not have any yet. She was stuck between “What’s for you will not pass you” & “Everything happens for a reason.” We asked her if there was any special occasion for the gift and she told me that her younger sister has been battling cancer which has left her unable to have children. Next month she was going with her sister to the doctors in hopes to carry her sister’s baby. We teared up, as she told us how nervous she was, because she was quite a bit older and how desperately she wanted to give this gift to her sister. She ultimately went with “What’s meant for you will not pass you” she thought It sent the positive and hopeful message she wanted to share with her sister before they started this journey.
