This week, well be testing out some new mechanics for Geek Trivia Night! They may or may not stick, but we wont know if theyre solid or not unless we run with them at least once: 1. There will now be a 6th round called The Clutch, consisting of a single question. Prior to the question being read, each team will wager any amount of points that they already have. This question will be the most obscure, most difficult question of the night, since it has potential to sway scores by a lot. Teams can also opt to not wager any points and not risk their standings. 2. Since its the most obscure, most difficult question of the night, the category topic will be announced ahead of time (and almost always included in the subtitle of the Event Page). So, for this coming Saturdays Geek Trivia Night, The Clutch category will be the Netflix original series, Orange Is The New Black. 3. The third place team of the night will not receive a tangible prize, but will have the opportunity to decide the following weeks category for The Clutch. The category may be altered at our discretion, to make sure its still somewhat broad enough.
