This weeks sign is my Christmas Wish: Dear Santa: Brains for Democrats. Balls for Republicans. Its not that Democrats are stupid. They frequently have advanced academic degrees. The party is dominated by Lawyers. Barack Obama is a lawyer, Michelle Obama is a lawyer, Bill Clinton is a lawyer, Hillary Clinton is a lawyer, Elizabeth Warren is a Lawyer, Harry Reid is a Lawyer and Nancy Pelosi is a lawyer. The Republican party is different. George HW Bush, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Mitt Romney were all businessmen. Republicans know how real wealth is created. The Democrats know how wealth can be redistributed thru laws. No offense to my lawyer friends as I view law as essential to defending rights, especially property rights. But political lawyers are in a different class. They act as if America is one gigantic class action lawsuit with class warfare defining the clients and the opposing parties. Ronald Reagan once said It isnt so much that Liberals are ignorant. Its just that they know so many things that arent so. Here are some things that I view that Democrats may think they know but really are mistaken: - They dont acknowledge that the welfare state has failed. Not only has it bankrupted America but it has not improved those targeted to help. The War on poverty has failed. Poverty was 13% in 2008. It is 16% in 2012 according to US Census data. - They believe that the printing of money creates wealth. They still believe in Keynesian economics. Nancy Pelosi believes that welfare payments and food stamps are the best way to create jobs. Either she is being deceitful or she is an idiot. - Democrats believe that a centrally planned economy is the ideal and that it works and that the goal of government is to redistribute wealth. - They believe that Obamacare is a good thing and will work even though it is destroying Healthcare and pissing off most Americans with much higher rates. - They believe that climate change is a scientific fact and that CO2 is the cause. They dont have a clue what real science is and the role it plays in wealth creation. The climate change movement is just a front for green cronyism. - They believe that they are creating utopia but in reality they are creating an America just like Detroit. - They believe that the public is stupid and that they know what is good for us. The ends justify the means including lying to the public. The majority of Democrats have been duped by the Democrat ruling class. The middle class families are worse off losing about $4,000 per year in salary per family. Blacks are worse off by every measurement after 6 years. Race relations are much worse off under Obamas Presidency. However the good thing about Democrats is that the have guts and they take action to go after their agenda. Main street Republicans are really not that different than Democrats. Romney couldnt articulate why his vision was different than Obamas. Romney also believed in the common good but his main argument was that government would be more efficient under his leadership. Even after winning the Senate last month the Republicans are a bunch of chickens. They passed the $1.1 trillion spending bill with all of their pork programs and all of the democrat pork programs also. The question is whether they have the guts over the next 2 years to: - Roll back Obamacare - Too stop Obamas executive order on immigration - To begin to reform entitlements and cut spending - To put corporate Cronyism on the chopping block and declare it wrong - To implement real border security - To propose a real comprehensive tax reform even if Obama vetos it. Ann Coulter wrote a book: If Democrats has any brains, they would be Republicans. Her sequel should be: If Republicans had any balls, they would be Democrats I am tired of gutless RINO candidates like Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney and now Jeb Bush. America will not be returned to the vision of founding fathers under the leadership of a spineless Republican.
