This week’s highlighted event is the LEAP Parent Workshop: 1,000 Hours to Kindergarten. The LEAP [Learn Enrich Achieve Play] Workshops develop and support parents of children with exceptional needs by empowering parents and caregivers to build literacy, communications and motor skills in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Early Education Specialist Diana Decker will present on early literacy development, environments and connecting this to engaging young minds. This program will be at 10:00 AM at Sunnyside Library.
