This whole day has been insanely crazy. Words cant really describe it. Im going to go into further debriefing tomorrow... But from what I witnessed today is that people are angry but there was a lack of stategy. Many of us tried to de-escalate the situation and did numerous times because of the highly militarized police force we have here in Albuquerque. I honestly felt like I was back in the West Bank. Tonight further proved that the tactics used by Israeli forces in Palestine are the same tactics used here in Albuquerque. In my opinion, we need to come as a community and really talk strategy. This is not a rebellion this is real life and we need to mobilize in a smart strategic manner. The energy is there, we just need it center it in at a better capacity. So much love and respect to those in my community who helped de-escalate and tried to keep the peace.
