This whole its wrong to spank your children rant is getting on my nerves. Im not going to take my time and punctuate everything Im about to type, so bear with me.. I am just so mad right now. To me, there is nothing wrong with a spanking here and there... The only problem I think would be with disciplining your children is if youre doing it out of anger. If youre disciplining your children out of anger, something is bound to go wrong. But when it is out of love, I do not think it is wrong because youre teaching your child a lesson. Im not a parent so I dont know what it is like to discipline children, but it seems to me that everyone has their own method.. And if it works for not only you, but for the benefit of your child you shouldnt be called a bad parent. Yes, there are people who abuse their children but that is not everyone. I was spanked on numerous occasions, sometimes out of love and sometimes out of anger... But when my parents were ever angry they apologized. Sometimes before I was spanked my mom or dad would have me pray with them, and if I acted up in public, they would pull me aside and make sure I knew what I was going home to and to prepare my little bottom for a good spanking... (One time it gave me time to think of something creative and put extra padding under my pants.) -kids dont try that, I got bare bottom after that- (not fun) So for you parents out there who know disciplining your child is in fact biblical and healthy... Dont let other people make you feel like youre a bad parent for loving your child enough to discipline them. #adrianpeterson
