This whole situation disappoints me. I was disappointed by the death of Eric Garner and the many cases of police brutality weve seen over many years. I am disappointed that someone felt it required killing two officers. I am disappointed that police forces do more to protect certain segments of society and less to protect others. I am disappointed that the people who choose to serve and protect are called pigs. I am just plain disappointed, but I think that the solution lies in better leadership of urban police departments - and that comes from the top. Americas governors, mayors, and police chiefs - and police unions - need to take a hard look at their policing policies and get their act together. Crime is at an all time low in many cities - its time to reassess. Discuss...
