This will be a problem in MANY states besides Texas. Your ID must be current and reflect the correct name and ADDRESS as on the polls, so anyone whose ID is a bit out of date, or has not been reissued to show a name change will be rejected and unable to vote. Check to make sure you are still registered (a big poll cleansing has occurred recently in NC and other states) as your name might have been dropped especially if you moved or changed marital status. You will NOT be able to vote a provisional ballot if you show up at the wrong precinct, so be CERTAIN to check where your CORRECT PRECINCT is located and plan to vote there. Best to vote absentee or early vote!!
