This will be the longest post youll probably ever see from me! Ive been hearing and feeling some negative thoughts towards Superior, the prices of things, the lack of things to do, changes being made that people dont agree with, people telling us to clean up our properties. I will agree that I dont always see eye to eye with everything being done, but I give a lot of credit to every group, individual or organization that is at least trying. I look at Superior in such a positive way. What towns, our size, have: a swimming pool, skating rink, bowling alley, theatre, 2 wonderful parks, a beautiful 9 hole golf course, our own newspaper and radio staion, a new ball field, a state of the art Hospital, new school, beautiful homes for the elderly, our own Winery, a museum, beautiful library, tennis courts, track field(with nice restrooms constructed only because of a committee joining together to make it happen), a band shelter to hold concerts and events.....and so many buisnesses! Id love to see more for our town, it all takes volunteers! If you have a passion about bowling and want to see about getting a junior league going or a Couples league started, go talk to Mike, see what can be done with your help...youd like to see mens softball league or co-ed softball get going whats stopping you from forming a committee and getting the ball rolling. It shouldnt be why cant Superior do something like that it should be hey we could do something like that... get involved, love your community and making a difference. People will say, i never get called to help, its always the same people. Most of those people get ahold of someone and get involved, they arent called. I dont have all the answers, believe me, but I have the passion and can maybe help you find the right people with those answers! Get involved....its our town!
