This wont mean much to some but this is my professor for my COMPUTER FORENSICS course. i would say i am in good hands if you were to read this. Mr.Ronald Facciponti is employed by the US Department of Homeland Security / Transportation Security Administration at Newark Liberty International Airport and is assigned to National Security Operations. One aspect of his current responsibilities is the Information Technology Point of Contact at the local TSA Office and oversees the TSAs IT Policy at his office. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Facciponti was the Federal Security Director in Atlantic City, NJ and was responsible for the safety and security of all modes of transportation in his area of responsibility. This included aviation, surface , rail and maritime security. Prior to his federal career, Mr. Ronald Facciponti spent 21 years with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and retired in 2002 as a Detective Commander in the NYPDsDetective Bureau. Mr. Facciponti held many executive level positions throughout New York City in the Patrol Bureau, Criminal Justice Bureau and the Detective Bureau. During his NYPD career, Mr.Facciponti worked in many precincts throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx and oversaw the performance of hundreds of police personnel. Mr. Facciponti regularly attended the NYPDs monthly Compstat Meeting representing the precinct or detective unit he was responsible for to discuss crime patterns and trends and the operational strategies to combat crime and violence. Mr. Facciponti was on duty during both WTC terrorist attacks in 1993 and in 2001. After the 9-11 attack, Mr. Facciponti was assigned to the Staten Island Landfill as the officer- in- charge for the World Trade Center Evidence and Recovery Mission, a joint NYPD/FBI Operation where the 1.2 million tons of debris from the Towers were processed for evidence, human remains and personal property. Mr. Facciponti received his Bachelors Degree in 1994 from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan and completed his Masters Program in 2006 from Farleigh Dickinson University, NJ.He earned certificates in Adminstrative Science, Public Policy and Law and Transportation Security. Mr. Ronald Facciponti resides in Toms River, NJ., home of the 1998 World Series Little League Champs. Mr. Facciponti enjoys spending time with his son Chris who plays ice hockey. His daughter Nicolette, is a NYPD Police Officer assigned to the Midtown Manhattan precinct. Nicolette proudly wears the same shield number 24143 as her dad wore when he was a police officer over 25 years ago
