This wooden bottle case is from about 1900-1910. Its my favorite and oldest piece of Topeka Coca-Coca memorabilia. Hutchinson stopper style bottles were likely used in this case initially since it was designed to carry them upside down. Then after that perhaps the crown-top cap straight sided bottle, which started appearing after the Hutchinson bottle, between 1902-1915. Theres a shipping tag on one end with Green Bros. Falls of Rough, KY written on it. Hard to say why it traveled that far from Topeka. Perhaps loaded on a passenger train for consumption during the trip? If only it could talk..
