This world that I am living in tonight has even less of an attraction for me. Already living here without my grandparents, my dad, and my husband.....I am here without my sweet mother. Surrounded by her children, two of her grandchildren, close friends and very special hospice nurses, mother took that beautiful journey from this world to paradise. She had not opened her eyes for several days until tonight ... just minutes before she took her last breath. She opened them so wide and looked at me, looked up at the wall at the pictures, then fixed her eyes on the ceiling.....I knew she was looking at paradise.....she took several short breaths and closed her eyes. She went peacefully and thanks to Hospice nurses, Gwen and Annette....with no pain or suffering. Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support during mothers battle with cancer. Thank you Jesus, she is now cancer free. I love you all and appreciate you so much more than I can say right now.
