This year I dedicated my Spartathlon to Isabella, an argentinian 5 year-old girl who is under chemotherapy treatment since 3 years ago because shes been diagnosed leukemia and needs a marrow transplant. I took a couple of pictures with a photo of her at the starting line and at Leonidas feet. She gave me the strength I needed during several parts of the race and helped me to reach the finish line. Why do I post this in this group? Because, somehow, she was involved in the race and today I was told that a compatible donor was found; and I just wanted to share with all of you this wonderful news.
