This year Ive been invited to do several interviews for online sites. Ive been candid about my experiences on Trek and other shows. What gets very interesting -- and Im not going to identify the specific site or interview -- are the comment threads which vary from amusing to annoying and then back to amusing again. (Once again, I have to remind myself -- DONT READ the comments.) Several commenters made some of the most interesting and bizarre assumptions, speaking as if their decades-after-the-fact opinions were more accurate and insightful than the experience of the guy who was actually in the room. Im not going to respond to or identify any of the silliness, except to note once again how stupid you can look if you dont bother to do your research.
