This year in honor of Halloween, I will be sharing youtube videos of horror theme music from the classics of the 1930s to modern age music of today. Music has played a big role in my life and usually I like to listen soundtracks to every rhythm and beat for understanding of how the song goes. First on the list is the opening theme of the original Dracula that starred Bela Lugosi. It starts off nice and soft with the whimsical feel thats almost dreamlike but then as the song goes along, the crescendo starts to rise up as high as the Counts Castle in Carpathian Mountains and starts to show the true epic power of evil as a warning to those who travel that far into the mountains. The sound of the music then starts to wind down into to its soft melody that makes it sound like it was a dream until the last few notes that reminds you that horror of the story is about to begin.
