This year we have decided not to celebrate Halloween..at all. Just personal convictions that we are wanting to be obedient to and did not feel like we could justify this Holiday as a way to honor or glorify God. That being said..this post is not about that or personal preferences..I got a phone call from one of Vannas classmates today. The mother called only to ask WHY Savanna did not celebrate Halloween. She had asked Van what she was going to be for Halloween and Savanna shared that she doesnt celebrate it and why (her version..lol). The mom said she was very impressed w/ Savannas conviction and confidence in her response! She also wanted to be able to explain to her daughter so she could support Savanna! I thought it was very sweet and I am VERY proud of Savanna for being such a confident light!
