This year we thought we would try some new rules (this is funny since Im not great with rules). So from 8-830 we have no electrics everyone must do the chores/clean up the house. Well the kids have loved this they can earn 5 minutes of electronic time with each chore completed - my bathrooms have never been cleaner, my floors are swept and mopped daily since Aug 18th, the boys rooms are neat and tidy...all of this for additional Nook/Computer time. Of course I will adjust for sports...upset I didnt think of this last year.
