This year will be a memorable one for us as students to celebrate the 15th anniversary of our university with great pride. So as to publicize SLIIT and also to bring together the students and staff as one entity that represents SLIIT, we as one family have organized a walk. We hope that this will be one of the key events to promote our university to another greater level. The SLIIT walk for the year 2014 will be under the theme of “15 Years of Excellence”. Presumably this will be one of the greatest unforgettable occasions for this year. Charity Project Following the tradition of the previous Walk, we are intending to carry out a charity project with the profits made out of it. This year we are planning to help students of a rural and remote school to provide them with better education facilities. We intend to provide them equipment for a computer lab so that they can have an efficient and effective Information Technology education with practical experience and improve their computer literacy as well.
