This you have to try, Onion rings soaked in tabasco and deep fried... the best thing to add to a Burger... 1 1/2 large yellow onions 1/2 cup tabasco sauce salt and pepper - to taste 1 cup all-purpose flour oil - for deep-frying Cut the onions to your preference, I like to julienne mine nice and thin but you can go larger if you wish. Place them in a bowl and cover them with the Tabasco. Crack some pepper on the top and salt ( a few cracks and a few shakes). Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, I like mine to sit for about 4-5. When your ready to cook them. Place the flour with some more salt and pepper either in a bowl or a large plastic bag. Toss the onions and throw some in the bowl coat with the flour, and add to 350 degree oil. Cook for about a minute or until golden. Be very delicate with them when in the oil or the coating will break off. Serve these little babys on steaks, chops, chicken, fish, or burgers, or just serve with some ketchup and blue cheese dressing.
