This young man is right, he grew up in a much different era than his elders and because, the older people lived through a difficult time in their society, no doubt after, slavery, the KKK and countless atrocities suffered by black people, Indians, Latins, Jews and other minorities, considered low on American societies scale of stature, integration was introduced as a mandate in an attempt to right this wrong in the law and most peoples way of thinking at the time. Integration, brought about a time, when all young people were forced to go to school with all races. In this new era they were taught differently and lived differently, than their parents and grandparents and they learned, at least in most places, to view things a bit differently, with a greater tolerance of others and because of those law changes, they mixed with and shared common bonds daily in all school teachings and extra curricular activities and so, some of the differences in most of their minds, began to erase. This made everyone more familiar and human because of their common experiences and bonds they formed, if they learned to hate others based on race, it was usually from, what was passed down to them, by their elders! Just think if we all moved our minds toward this young mans way of thinking, our society might grow into, something much better! Maybe all this controversy, we should try to view, as an opportunity for all of us, all Americans, and all people of all races to push aside our differences and grow inside, each and every one of us, just a little! My hope is that we can realize some of the conflict we are going through can be turned into something positive and spark a new way of thinking and understanding between all people, maybe the more level headed, the majority, I would hope, that exists, will begin to step forward and say,..........no more....no more hate,......no more police brutality,..........no dealing with our problems in the old archaic way of abuse, and privilege! Government and state employees, must be accountable for their actions, just like everyone else! Those who chose to loot and steal and the abusive practices of the rich and privileged who, have probably been as responsible for, as much of this as anyone, must also be accountable for their actions! All the haters, from all places, White, Black, Latin and all races, must no longer be tolerated by the ones who have, a better sense of, the fact that we are all from the same human race so, lets stop rejoicing in each others misery and pain and begin to resolve some of the issues that have plagued us as a society for so long! Good for the young people who are changing how the old people think!
