I feel nothing of the sort” “I have seen you rip into people online all the time for posting about being offended by various injustices.” “Oh! them... well, I understand the confusion. Most of them are not actually Social Justice Warriors, generally they are “Web Weenies”. Yes, I had this conversation today. Thing is, when I think of “social justice”, I do not think of people scouring face book posts for the mere hint of a misused pronoun, or a misappropriated item on a picture of someone’s costume. Ready to form an Internet Inquisition at a moment’s notice. They don’t need trial, just conviction. It is true, I don’t think much of them. I think of someone like this woman. Daniese McMullin Meeting with congress people about changing laws, closing down blocks of a city to make them enforce their own laws. Rescuing people from corrupt medical facilities. You know, someone actually doing things? She does loads more. She did not grow up rich, She was a single mother. She was using crutches or a wheelchair since she was 3 years old. That is a Warrior. Now, if you would like to see someone get…..OFFENDED, go ahead and say something stupid about her or her accomplishments, do it right here, go on, it will be fun...because she is also my mother.
