Thompson Report – Legendary parody song writer and performer Weird Al Yankovic was found dead this morning in his California home. According to his publicist the author of well known comedy hits such as “Amish Paradise”, “I’m Fat” and “Set Fire to the Rain” was found this morning dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound with a suicide note by his side. Reportedly the note said that Yankovic had awakened to the wild west theme song styling possibilities of “Gingham Style,” based upon the universally popular song “Gangham Style” by South Korean artist Psy. His publicists report it was not, as some might suspect, the pure idiocy of the idea of the song that drove Yankovic to commit his awful deed, but that it took him over a year after the song gained worldwide popularity before thinking of it. (ok people this is a joke, of my own sick style… and I thought of it after actually waking up myself to the idea of the song Gingham Style... today…. Though with no thoughts of suicide, to the dismay of some… lol)
