Thor: The Dark World. What can I say about a movie with elves, an artifact of great power, and a hero wielding a magic hammer? That shit was PETER JACKSON GOOD! Okay, Thor: TDW doesnt really compare since its a Superhero film but the similarities are mind blowing. Both are stories about an Old War with a long forgotten and believed dead enemy that is awakened by someone touching a item of great power. This old enemy reappears to plunge the universe into eternal darkness and an heir to the throne rises to stop him. But Thor:TDW has something that even Tolken cant match, Loki. Tom Hiddlestons performance was, for lacking a better term, FLAWLESS. Loki is felt throughout the film and steals to show, almost literally. If a hero is measured by his villains, Thor is worthy of the title God of Thunder because Loki is what happens when you combine Lex Luther and the Joker. Go to the movies, pay for a ticket, and watch this action packed piece of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also, there are 2 scenes during the credits. One introduces The Collector.
