Thoroughly enjoyed my first roast dinner since Christmas Day at the wonderfully placed Valley View. Delightful to listen to the birds singing and take in the view. I chose lamb which was very succulent, the Yorkshire Puds are the best to be found in the region and nice thick meat gravy. I love the buttery mash and the vegetables are cooked nicely. Very filling and really pleased it was served on a hot plate. Great to chat with the host and very popular place particularly on a Sunday. One small thing, can I have 2 carrots next time ha ha :-) with Gareth too
