Those of you hating on the opposition dont know what you are doing. You should be in love with the opposition. The government has reduced the pump price of petrol after being criticized by the opposition as robbing Nigerians. The beauty of democracy is when there is a balanced sharing of power between two or more parties. A single party being in power for 60 years spells doom for the country. It is like having a monopolist in a market. He can change the price of his product at will or even refuse to sell to you because your wife failed to greet him yesterday. But when the monopoly is broken by having more suppliers in the market, there is competition. The competitors will struggle to please the consumers by bringing down the price of their products. We are the consumers in this market-democracy. It doesnt matter whether the politicians are the same. What matters is that they get to compete to please the masses. Let the competition continue. Give us electricity. Reduce fuel price. Give us housing and good roads. Create jobs and the enabling environment for jobs to be created. Ensure security of lives and property. Work for the people or risk being criticized by the opposition and rejected by the people. Lets chase out any party that is joking with the lives of 170 million people and bring in an alternative party. If that party fails, we chase them out again! Na democracy be that!
