(Luke 12:31 NLT) So many Christians and the lost alike are waiting for an audible, booming voice to say, This is the way, or Heres exactly what you are supposed to do. They are searching for God to speak or give them instruction. When He already has....the Bible. Now Gods Spirit will lead and direct you & God will speak to your heart. However, learning the voice of God and leading of God is something that develops thru time and experience. During that development process our guide for knowing what God has to say about it and how Hed have us handle a situation is contained within the love letter/instruction manual He left us called the Bible. The Bible is not only a roadmap for our lives and an instruction manual on how to live a blessed, fulfilled, overcoming life..... it is also Gods biography. He has revealed himself to us thru it.... we can see His heart, His nature, His character and His feelings/thoughts toward us in what is written in the Bible. The Bible is full of promises for you, but if you never read it how will you know what those promises are. Also, when you do read it, you have to know that those promises are for YOU.... they werent just for the people living in Biblical times. Know the promises and claim them as your own. Today, if you find yourself wondering where God is or wondering how to handle a particular situation.... I encourage you to turn to the Bible for your answer and ask God before you open it to reveal Himself to you and to give you understanding and wisdom. Then, step out! Realize solutions ALWAYS require an action on our part!!! Dont expect provision or even answers to rain down on you like manna from Heaven if you are not making any effort. Examples: 1) if youre praying for a job but are not out there looking for a job, sending out resumes, etc, dont expect a job to manifest. You have to be doing something for God to bless. Send out resumes, while youre praying and believing for that job. Trust God to open doors for you and direct you into the exact job He has for you. 2) You want clarity on what to do in a situation but you are not reading the Bible and you are trying to weigh your options and figure out a logical, natural solution rather than seeking Gods will or input.... God is SUPERnatural. Dont limit your thinking and believing by what you see or what your circumstances are screaming. Know that your SUPERnatural God has a SUPERnatural solution for you. God, His Kingdom & His Word are the final answer and the Christians reality.
