For most conservatives, the importance of having a moral people and important non governmental institutions such as temples and churches, and civic groups, is to reduce the role of government. But a focus on a faith-based society combined with a penchant for big government tells me that his filter about what should and shouldnt be the appropriate role of the government is -- well, broken. Huckabee is a non-starter. My number one rule of politics is that there is NO BETTER INDICATOR OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE THAN PAST PERFORMANCE. For his atrocious record on taxes as Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee deserves THE BIG RASPBERRY. No thanks! I am very concerned that conservative friends of mine are being taken off the table in looking for our conservative nominee, drawn in by this pied piper.
