Those who hate corporations but love the government miss a point. Gargantuan companies are often harmful indeed --- very often they exist in such size BECAUSE of government perks, favors, bailouts, corporate welfare or protectionist polices. GM and Ford would have had their butts kicked ages ago by a Tesla if government hadnt intervened (government has tried to kill Tesla also) Wal Mart would be smaller without special China trade perks, eminent domain and employment laws tailored by its lobbyists. Goldman Sachs and Bank of America would be out of business if not for taxpayer bonus bailouts...... Etc. If government stayed away, wed have more competition.
