Those who have never taken the opportunity to learn to play an instrument or perform music in some small way are really missing out on one of Gods great gifts to mankind. The gift of music. The joy it brings to not only those who listen to music but also to those who perform it is no better evidenced but by this short video clip! Its a joy that can be enjoyed regardless of ines talent level and regardless of ones age! FYI....Phil Keaggy was born on March 23, 1951 in Youngstown, OH, the ninth of ten children, Phil grew up in a home filled with music on a farm in Hubbard, Ohio. On Phils 10th birthday, his brother, Dave returned home with a Sears Silvertone guitar. Thats when the magic began. Phil spent most of his younger days involved in music, and at the young age of 13, he joined his very first band, the Keytones. He later went on to join such local groups as The Vertices, The Squires, and the Volume Four, who later changed their name to New Hudson Exit. He gained national fame with a group called Glass Harp in the 1970s and has been world renowned among Christian performers for many years after becoming born again during those latter Glass Harp years.
