Though I often (almost always) disagree with much of what Stewart says; I always find him entertaining. This particular monologue, is so replete with IRONY, and some REALLY FUNNY (OK, I also, TOO OFTEN, use bad language myself... ;-\)!! The most wonderful irony I appreciated, was his reference to the suggestion of stroking Gods beard, by the head of the IRS...to empower and motivate him to tell the truth; but more powerful...the photo of the Ten Commandments/stone tablets as a secure place to store information...hmmm? Was this a purposeful reference to The Creator, and our only hope; or was it a fortunate accident? I like his words of accusation...criminal incompetence. Or should it have just been, criminal? The Governments rapidly expanding rap-sheet of INCOMPETENCE (IRS, disgusting failure of the VA,Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Executive overreach and abuse of power)...or OUTRIGHT DECEIT; seems to be growing at an exponential rate. Yet, most Americans dont care, or dont know...and why is that? Hmmm... Yes, I am a conspiracy theorist in THIS REGARD... ...the media is impotent and/or complicit in purposely, not finding and reporting the truth. Then again, the average American seems to be more interested, not in FREEDOM...as in from a tyrannical and intrusive government; but freedom to get a buzz on and party...soon, celebrating our Nations birth. Merely satisfied, as Stewart says, to get f#@$%d up, and stare at the sky from 9:00 to 9:25. It would seem the government is just incompetent...or has reached an INTOLERABLE level of croneyism, greed and corruption. Either way...it is time, perhaps, for a (peaceful one, I hope!) REVOLUTION by an INFORMED, MOTIVATED and ENGAGED citizenry. What do you think? Are you now, or will you become, an informed, motivated and engaged (outraged?) citizen and save this country; or are you content with the status quo of faux economic/employment growth, the most rapidly increasing disparity of income in the history of this nation (again...ironically, driven by those who claim to be at war against such?)...and the festering hatred of and deserved loss of respect and relevance of the United States, by what would seem, the rest of the world? Arent I in a cheery mood today? Blessings, and intense prayer...for you, me, this country, mankind...its need for The Truth and the Light.
