Thought 4the day: Watching one of the horses in and seeing how he has so much to learn with just interaction with the herd made me realise how we take things for granted. We assume our four legged friends know how to interact and be one of the guys when we dont always know when they were taken from mum or if they have been out with others and learnt the social etiquette that,s needed. Now this guy is a big boy and hr seems to think shoving his head up another geldings bottom is a way of greeting so we have had to put him out with a few we know will help and correct him but in a safe manner. Horses are the only ones who can really teach another horse to be a horse. We like the horses here to figure out who they are before we figure out who we think they are. Allow them to be one of the guys but please make sure they know how to be first!
