Thought I would share this video with the group. It was made about 12 years ago, at a run what you brung meet in Cornwall. My daughter who was 14 at the time took the video, she had never used a video recorder before and it was one of those big old things, so you will have to excuse the quality lol. It shows me running my old girl up against a few modern bikes, my bike was the oldest bike running that day and there where about 150 bikes there. The main part of the vid is at about 3.30, this is where I am pitted against the Suzuki Hayabusa turbo. The Suzuki was built and used for speed record attempts, and since this video was made has taken the British speed record at 229mph. In the end the Suzuki went through the lights at over 150mph, only managing to pass me at about 2/3 the way along the 1/4 mile, not really sure who was most surprised to be honest !!!............... youtube/watch?v=HJE4VCIy7PE
