Thought for the Day: The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. Matthew 13:44 Saints, the kingdom of heaven, or the kingdom of God, is where our great and mighty Triune God rules and reigns. When a person meets the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, and comes to saving faith, he or she has not only discovered but entered the kingdom of heaven where the Government is perfect, the Ruler never makes a mistake, and His Rule is always loving, benevolent, merciful, kind – a treasure indeed worth more than all the riches this world and its fallen ruler could amass. And, His kingdom will never end, and it will never change. Dear ones, let’s rejoice today for, as the Apostle Paul explained, recorded in Philippians 3:20,21 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will conform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.” Hugs, Betty
