Thought of the day (Monday, July 15) Last week we began looking at God’s promises of His power and its availability to us. Here’s a great promise for you, the third of four we’re learning. #3 When you’re in pain. . .God’s power is available! Psalm 41:3 says: “The Lord will give them strength when they are sick, and He will make them well again.” One version says. . .“The Lord nurses them when they are sick and eases their pain. . .” Beloved . . . Some of you are in pain from loss. Some of you are in physical pain in some part of your body – some sort of affliction that you live with. Some of you are in pain over a job situation. Some of you are in pain over the trauma of separation or divorce. Some of you are in pain due to the economy and financial pressures. So much pain, coming at us in so many ways, is part of life. But the cool thing is that “El Shaddai” promises us power in the midst of our pain. Tomorrow, I’ll share the last of these 4 promises. Blessings!
