#ThoughtfulMood Ive learnt a new bitter truth; dishonest people will do everything possible to build a cocoon of dishonesty around themselves and would never feel comfortable having anyone puncture that cocoon with the saber of reality or truth. These group of persons when in your life would be plotting your downfall or hoping for it at best. They lie in wait, like lions and lionesses primed for attack. When you break goodnews to them or achieve a milestone, they do all within their power to pour very cold ice water on it. They always find ways to chip away on your self confidence with useless ill intentioned warnings poorly disguised as advices. They will usually PREFACE such mind-poisons with lines like Im telling you this because I care and dont want to see you hurt. Such guile is the Okro soup that enables such venom-laced advices to be swallowed into the deepest bellies of our thoughts in order to be digested and poison our mind system eventually. For such people with factory-fitted wickedness and jealousy, the best you can do for yourself is to IDENTIFY them. Also check if the advice AFFECTS your self-confidence (believe me, thats what gets you anywhere in life!). Usually, helpful, honest love-based advises and rebukes have an uncanny way of BOOSTING your self-confidence. Nevertheless, even if it does chip away at your self-confidence, before labeling the adviser, get out from yourself so to say, pretend you are a close friend to Mr. You and critically look at the merits and demerits of such advise to Mr. You. If you see that Mr. You is being led astray or harmed by such advise/action, whip out the black register and append the name of that adviser there! The best way to deal with them is to play along! Yes, PRETEND you have been deceived, to be oblivious of their machinations. Trust me, na only time e go take before you run them off the playground of your life with nervousness! You just wake up one morning, look for your toy and discover he/she is gone. Dont make the mistake of MATCHING pretense with INDIGNATION, thats for lesser minds! Let the player realize he/she has met the coach and thoroughly enjoy the show while you are at it. Never satisfy their psychopathic craving of seeing you sad, angry or confused. Occasionally create false alarms and sit back and enjoy the Comedy Central! TAKE CHARGE, BE IN CONTROL. Please and please, dont give me the bullshit of thats not fair cos life itself aint fair!
