Thoughts are things we think about each moment of the day, When we are very hard at work or even when at play. Some thoughts will lift us upward, some thoughts will pull us down, And leave us filled with anguish, which makes our spirit frown. We need to always be on guard in what we say and think, Lest Satan comes and takes command as quickly as a wink. He wants to here enslave us, and cause us misery, Because he’s very miserable, and misery loves company. His goal and life ambition is to rob us of true peace, And leads us into temptation, his efforts never cease. Let’s fill our lives with good thoughts so when Satan wants to stay, He’ll see that there’s “no vacancy” and he’ll just go away. It’s up to us to conquer, to be all we can be, A child of God, the Father, His heir eternally. For only then may we find joy to both our heart and soul, As we kneel at His alter, and reach our heavenly goal. Yes, thoughts are things we think about each moment of the day, So let us think about the Lord, and choose to here obey His laws and also teachings, so we may one day be Joint heirs to all the Father has to share with you and me. heart_thoughtsbyjim@hotmail Your friend and brother.
